Cape Bear Lighthouse is hiring for summer 2026!

Cape Bear Lighthouse is accepting applications to fill the following positions for the 2026 summer season.

To fill full-time positions subsidized by employment grants, we are looking for: 

• 1 adult aged 30+ and currently unemployed, to work at least 12 weeks
• 3 students aged 15-29 and returning to school in the Fall, to work at least 8 weeks

The ideal applicants will be friendly and able to connect easily with strangers over shared interests (lighthouses and history). They will be knowledgeable and passionate about local history of PEI, experienced in customer service and money handling, fluent in spoken and written English. Fluency in other languages, especially French, would be an asset.
